About IvyCrest

Welcome to IvyCrest

Your interest in our school is appreciated. The information on this website will provide you with a greater understanding of the valuable and positive impact IvyCrest Montessori can have on your child.

IvyCrest Montessori curriculum is based upon the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori, and is developmentally appropriate for children 18 months through sixth grade. The focus is on the whole child -- physical, emotional, social, cognitive, creative and artistic development, are stressed equally.

At all levels, our teachers spark a childīs curiosity, encourage critical thinking and instill within children a joy for life-long learning.

Our programs for infants, toddlers, primary and elementary age children are conducted in a warm, loving, nurturing environment, where Montessori teachers and caregivers invest in your child. Infant rooms feature bright, airy interiors designed to stimulate with toys and materials that encourage hand / eye coordination and cognitive ability. Toddlers learn about practical life, begin their studies and play indoors and out. Primary and elementary children follow the curriculum outlined at each level. All children are taught gently how to solve problems amongst themselves with a teacher serving as mediator.

Please follow-up your visit to our website with a personal tour of of the Fullerton or Yorba Linda campus. Here, you can observe a Montessori classroom in session and have your enrollment questions answered by the schoolīs visionary leadership. The excellence youīll find at IvyCrest is the result of the strong support and trust of our parents, and the dedication, training, and commitment of our teachers.

We look forward to sharing in your childīs success.
Sincerely,

Ms. Holly E. Constantin
